How was Halloween?

Very successful, thank you:

My kids went as inventory management consultants. Can’tcha tell?

Before sorting all the candy by type, they reported in with a total of 301 pieces. Little did they know, this doesn’t count the candy that my wife and I ate after they went to bed last night. The picture above also reflects the four of us “picking” at it today. I give the whole stash a couple of weeks…

    Lot’s of people do Reeses cups these days.

    The families on my block had a party that night, and the kids began trading candy. My older son has a thing for Reeses cups, and traded away the stuff he didn’t like for a larger stash.

    Next year – candy derivatives…

    Not to my knowledge, although if they did, I’d expect some comments to start appearing.

    They certainly have plenty of comments when I talk to them in real life! ;-)

    The dollar didn’t come from my kids – more likely, anything non-chocolate that was still left in his bag probably did. The animal bracelet market has seriously honed their negotiating skills…
